I know. I know. I didn't post my 10 on Tuesday like I said I would. Typepad was doing something crazy Tuesday and I couldn't get pictures to post without everything going crazy. I started over three times and then finally gave up. :(
I just wanted to drop by and share something that's been on my heart for the past few days.
Cindy and I were having a conversation recently about how sometimes you're surprised when you find out someone goes to church. Their behavior just doesn't seem to line up with being a Christian. We weren't meaning to judge. I mean, we know that we're all broken and we all fall short. We were just saying we don't want people to ever be surprised when we tell them what we believe. We want them to know it by the way we live our lives. Anything else seems insulting to God.
Anyway, Cindy mentioned Revelation 3:16 which says, "So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."
It's funny how sometimes a verse just resonates with you. I've read this verse over again and again.
And this I know-
I don't want to be spit out.
I don't want to live a life of ambiguity.
I want to talk the talk and walk the walk.
I want to leave no doubt.
Be back soon.
